Pour Yourself Two Fingers of the Good Stuff. Offer a Toast to Orson Welles.
Orson Welles often tops the list of the world’s most celebrated directors, a man who fundamentally changed the art form so central to our lives. During the filming of “The Third Man” in 1949 Vienna, Mr. Wells was often found perched on a barstool at the American Bar, sipping Scotch whiskey from a glass designed to be easy on the hand.
The classic glass, as Mr. Welles would no doubt attest, respects and reveres the spirits straight, neat, or with an ice cube or two. The curved shape, which directs aromatics to the nostrils as liquid hits the tongue, brings out obvious flavors missed in other glasses. First and foremost the glass is hard to put down. Pour yourself two fingers of the good stuff, and offer a toast to the legendary auteur.
Gift Box Set of 4, for keeping or giving. (Authorized by the Orson Welles Estate).
